À propos

I am a political scientist at the University of Geneva. I work as a postdoctoral researcher on the ERC Advanced Grant Unequal democracies directed by Jonas Pontusson.

Previously, I was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence and a postdoctoral researcher at the Universities of Amsterdam and Lausanne.

Located at the crossroads of political sociology and comparative political economy, my work explores the relation between social divisions, employment relations and politics. It has appeared in journals such as the British Journal of Industrial Relations, Economic and Industrial Democracy, European Journal of Political Research, Perspectives on Politics, Swiss Political Science Review, and West European Politics.

In my PhD thesis, I examined the evolution of working-class support for social democratic parties in Western Europe. I explored to what extent breaks in this political alignment can be explained by changes in social structure, values or parties’ positions.
